The Remote Accessory Control (RAC) Module receives digitally encoded UHF signals from a key chain transmitter. No two transmitters have the same code. The effective range of the transmitters is approximately 33 feet (10 meters) above 32°F (0°C) and 23 feet (7 meters) below 32°F (0°C). The RAC Module operates door locks, luggage compartment lid release, interior lights and remote keyless entry.
