Test G - Wheel Speed Sensor Output

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Move gear selector to Neutral position. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Release parking brake. Disconnect suspected wheel speed sensor connector.
  2. Connect DVOM test leads to wheel speed sensor terminals. Turn wheel by hand. Reading should be 50-900 millivolt AC. If reading is not as specified, replace faulty wheel speed sensor.
  3. If all measurements are correct, check EBCM/EBTCM connector for proper terminal contact. If connections are okay, replace EBCM/EBTCM.
  4. After all repairs are complete, clear codes, and repeat ABS/TCS functional check. See Figure .
