Automatic Locking Feature Does Not Operate
- Leave all doors closed throughout this procedure. Leave interior lights off. Disconnect multifunction alarm module connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Unlock doors. Momentarily connect a jumper wire between battery voltage and Light Blue wire terminal (terminal "C") of multifunction alarm module connector.
- If power door locks do not operate, repair open Light Blue wire. If power door locks operate, put gear selector in Park position. Connect one end of test light to battery voltage. With other end, backprobe harness side of one-wire connector C250 near convenience center. This connector houses a Light Blue wire that changes to Orange/Black. This circuit runs between multifunction alarm module and transaxle range switch.
- If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, check for open circuit between multifunction alarm module and transaxle range switch. If circuit is okay, adjust or replace transaxle range switch as necessary.
- Set parking brake. Put gear selector in Drive position. Connect test light as in step 2). If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, check for short to ground or poor connection in courtesy light circuits. If circuits are okay, replace multifunction alarm module.
- Check for short to battery voltage in circuit between multifunction alarm module and transaxle range switch. If circuit is okay, adjust or replace transaxle range switch as necessary.
