DTC B0812, Courtesy Lights Battery Feed Circuit (Open): Testing
- If BCM diagnostic system check was performed, go to next step. If BCM diagnostic system check was not performed, go to BCM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK .
- If DTC B1802 is set, go to DTC B1802, COURTESY LIGHTS CIRCUIT (SHORT TO GROUND) . If DTC B1802 is not set, go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect BCM 10-pin connector C3. Turn ignition on. Using test light, backprobe between ground and BCM harness connector C3 terminal "K" (Orange wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 5).
- Turn ignition off. Reinstall all components and connectors. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Check for DTCs. If DTC B0812 sets again, go to step 6). If DTC B0812 does not set again, system is operating properly.
- Repair poor connection or open in Orange wire between BCM connector C3 and instrument panel fuse block. Go to step 7).
- Turn ignition off. Replace BCM. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION . Reprogram BCM. See BCM PROGRAMMING. Go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Reinstall all components and connectors. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Perform BCM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK .
