Security Indicator Light Is On Constantly
- Disconnect Body Control Module (BCM) connector and observe security indicator light. If security indicator light is steel illuminated, go to next step. If indicator is no longer illuminated, replace BCM.
- Disconnect security indicator light. Using a DVOM, check continuity between security indicator light connector terminal "A" (Yellow wire) and ground. If there is continuity to ground in Yellow wire, repair short to ground in Yellow wire between security indicator light connector terminal "A" and BCM connector terminal D15. If there is no continuity to ground in Yellow wire, replace security indicator light.
