DTC B0802 & DTC B0803: Notes
CODE DEFINITION - B0802 & B0803
| Code | Definition |
|---|---|
| DTC B0802 | BTSI Shorted to Ground |
| DTC B0803 | BTSI Shorted to Voltage |
When ignition is on and transaxle is in Park, BCM drives the Brake Transaxle Shift Interlock (BTSI) solenoid output high, energizing BTSI solenoid. When brake is pressed, stoplight/BTSI switch opens BTSI circuit, de-energizing BTSI solenoid. BCM monitors this output over circuit No. 275 (Light Green wire).
DTC B0802 will set when BCM is unable to drive BTSI circuit high. DTC B0802 will clear when BCM determines BTSI output can be driven high for one monitoring cycle.
DTC B0803 will set when BCM determines output is high for 100 milliseconds. DTC B0803 will clear when BCM determines BTSI output feedback status shows no voltage.
