Power Windows Inoperative From Power Door Lock Switch/All Power Windows Inoperable
- If power window system check was performed, go to next step. If diagnostic window system check was not performed, refer to SYSTEM CHECK .
- With ignition off. Install scan tool. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Attempt to display driver door module information with scan tool. If scan tool shows DDM part number, record part number and go to next step. If scan tool does not display DDM part number, go to step 7).
- Select DDM inputs display on scan tool. Display left front window switch. Press left front window switch in both directions. If scan tool display shows both UP and DOWN selections, go to next step. If scan tool does not display both UP and DOWN selections, go to step 5).
- Select DDM outputs display on scan tool. Display driver window output. Press left front window switch in both directions. If scan tool shows both UP and DOWN commands, go to step 6). If scan tool does not display both UP and DOWN commands, go to step 7).
- Repair switch or open circuit in Light Blue wire between power door lock switch and driver door module. Recheck system operation.
- Repair motor or open circuit in Brown or Dark Blue wire between driver window motor and driver door module. Recheck system operation.
- Replace driver door module. Recheck system operation.
