Low Wash Indicator Malfunctioning

  1. Using scan tool, monitor BFC inputs. If LOW WASH indicator is LOW, see WASHER FLUID LEVEL INDICATOR MALFUNCTIONS  under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS. If LOW WASH indicator is not LOW, go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool, monitor BFC SPI serial data link. If BFC is commanding LOW WASH indicator OK and indicator is illuminated, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT PANEL article.
