Automatic Door Lock: Notes

NOTE: Tech 2 scan tool can be used to change automatic door lock/unlock modes. Refer to scan tool manufacturer's instructions.
  1. Close all vehicle doors. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Apply brakes and hold firmly. Press and hold LOCK on either door lock switch and shift transaxle out of Park, then back to Park.
  2. To advance mode setting, shift transaxle out of Park, then back into Park. Door locks will activate in same manner they would in corresponding mode. For example, advancing to mode 4, all doors would lock, and then driver door would unlock. Advancing to mode 1, no locking or unlocking would occur. See Mode 1  -Mode 4  . When Mode 4 is reached, Mode 1 will be repeated.
  3. To exit and save current customization mode, release door lock switch. Mode 3 is the factory default mode. Disconnecting battery for up to a year will not change mode setting.
