Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Fig 1: View of Instrument Panel Module Fasteners and Electrical Connectors

  3. Remove the fastener (2) from the instrument panel module (IPM).
  4. Rotate the IPM up and off of the instrument panel (I/P) retainer.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the IPM (1).
  6. Remove the IPM (1) from the vehicle.
