Removal Procedure

Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (L36) in Engine Mechanical.

Disconnect the cruise control cable (1) from the throttle lever.
Disconnect the cruise control cable (1) from the bracket (2).

Disconnect the accelerator cable (2) from the throttle lever.
Disconnect the accelerator cable (2) from the bracket (1).

Remove the wiring harness clip (1) from bracket (3) if necessary (VIN K only).

Remove the two bolts from the bracket.
