Installation Procedure

Install the power steering flow control spring (2) to the power steering pump.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
Install the power steering flow control valve assembly (3) to the power steering pump.
Tighten

Tighten the power steering flow control valve assembly (5) to 75 N.m (55 lb ft).
Install the power steering pressure hose to the power steering pump.

Tighten

Tighten the power steering pressure hose to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
Lower the vehicle.
Bleed the power steering system. Refer to BLEEDING THE POWER STEERING SYSTEM .
