Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Install the CKP sensor and studs.

    Tighten:  Tighten the studs to 20 N.m (15 lb ft) plus an additional 40 degrees using J 45059  .

  2. Install the CKP sensor shield.

  3. Connect the engine harness electrical connector (3) to the CKP sensor.
  4. Remove the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Replacement .
