Component Testing

Sunshade Switch
- Disconnect the C2 harness connector at the rear window sunshade module.
- Install a 10 amp fused jumper wire between the rear window sunshade actuator control circuit terminal 1 and 12 volts. Momentarily install a jumper wire between the rear window sunshade actuator control circuit terminal 2 and ground. The rear window sunshade actuator should perform the EXTEND or RETRACT function
- If the function does not perform as specified, replace the rear window sunshade actuator.
- Reverse the jumper wires; the rear window sunshade actuator should perform the RETRACT or EXTEND function.
- If the function does not perform as specified, replace the rear window sunshade actuator.
