Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (L26) (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the fuel tank assembly. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Service and Repair).




3. Disconnect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor (7) from the fuel sender assembly (1).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the new fuel tank pressure sensor (7) to the fuel sender assembly (1).
2. Connect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector.




3. Install the fuel sender access panel.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

4. Install the fuel sender access panel nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

5. Install the fuel tank. Refer to in Fuel Tank Replacement (Service and Repair).
6. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (L26) (Service and Repair).
