Installation Procedure

  1. Install the brake caliper.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Hold the brake caliper guide pin stationary and install the brake caliper guide pin bolts (1) and tighten to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

    NOTE: Install new brake hose fitting gaskets.
  3. Assemble the brake hose fitting bolt (1) and the 2 new brake hose fitting gaskets (2) to the font brake hose fitting (3).
  4. Install the brake hose assembly and tighten the brake hose fitting bolt to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).
  5. Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
  6. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
