Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the inflatable restraint instrument panel module. Refer to Instrument Panel Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement .
  2. Pull the rear edge of the trim cover (1) downward until the openings in the cover clear the 4 tips of the metal hooks.

  4. Flex the rear bottom edge of the trim cover (1) rearward to clear the 4 hooks, and pivot the trim cover upward.

  6. Pivot the trim cover (1) far enough so the cover can be disengaged from the 5 hooks at the forward side.
