CAUTION: Use care in removing the fuel injectors in order to prevent damage to the fuel injector electrical connector pins or the fuel injector nozzles. Do not immerse the fuel injector in any type of cleaner. The fuel injector is an electrical component and may be damaged by this cleaning method. Preliminary Procedure Remove the fuel injection fuel rail assembly. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement .
1	Fuel Injector Retaining Clips (Qty: 4) Special Tools EN-50791 Fuel Injector Nozzle Installer For regional tools refer to Special Tools (Diagnostic Tools) , Special Tools (Mechanical Tools) .
2	Fuel Injector Seals Procedure Remove and discard the old fuel injector seals. Coat new seals with clean engine oil and install onto injectors.
3	Fuel Injectors NOTE: If reusing the fuel injectors, note the location of each injector and reinstall in same location.
