Installation Procedure

  1. Install the exhaust front pipe hanger bracket (2).
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the 2 exhaust front pipe hanger insulator nuts (5) and tighten the nuts to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  3. Install the 2 drive frame bolts M10 (3) and tighten the bolts a first pass to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .

  4. Tighten the bolts a final pass to an additional 30° - 45°, using the EN-45059  meter.
  5. Install the 2 exhaust front pipe hanger bracket bolts M8 (4) and tighten the bolts to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  6. Unsupport the catalytic converter (1).
  7. Lower the vehicle.
