Preliminary Procedure

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without Start/Stop) .
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Disconnect and reposition the battery positive cable from the starter. Refer to Starter Replacement (LEA, LUK) .

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
28 N.m (21 lb ft)
