Installation Procedure

  1. Before continuing, lubricate the cylinder head bore with clean engine oil. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
  2. Install the Fuel Pump. FUEL PUMP INSTALLATION

  4. Electrical Connector (1) @Fuel Pump (2) - Connect

  6. Fuel Feed Pipe 1 @Fuel Pump 2 - Connect - Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
    NOTE: Once all fuel related components are installed, perform the fuel leak check in Installation Step 12 BEFORE continuing to install any non fuel related components.
  7. Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe - Install NEW Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe Replacement  - Install
    NOTE: If a fuel leak occurs at the fuel pump or fuel injection fuel rail fittings, the corresponding component will need to be replaced.
  8. Inspect for fuel leaks using the following procedure:
    1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF for 2 seconds.
    2. Turn OFF the ignition, for 10 seconds.
    3. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
    4. Inspect for fuel leaks.
