Condition	A customer may bring their vehicle in with a SES light on. When diagnosing the concern code P0446 will be found.
Cause	This code may have been set due to dust intrusion into the EVAP canister through the air inlet pipe.

CORRECTION

Clean filters in air inlet to EVAP canister, clean line and replace canister.

Inlet pipe with filter housing is attached to fuel inlet pipe with zip ties.

Disconnect air inlet pipe from EVAP canister. Remove the cover from the air inlet housing.

Remove both filters from air inlet and blow dust out of filters with compressed air from shop air supply.

With EVAP air inlet pipe disconnected from canister blow all dust out of pipe. Install new EVAP canister, reinstall filters into inlet and reconnect air inlet pipe to canister.

This PI may be converted to a Bulletin in the future if new information becomes available.
