Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  3. Separate Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod at Steering Knuckle - Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod Replacement
  4. Loosen the front lower control arm ball stud nut.

  6. Use the CH-42188 - B  separator (1) to separate the front lower control arm from the steering knuckle.

  8. Remove the front lower control arm ball stud nut (1).

  10. Remove the front lower control arm front nut (4) from the front lower control arm front stud (3).
  11. Remove the front lower control arm rear nut (2) and front lower control arm rear bolt (1).

  13. Remove the front lower control arm (1) from the vehicle.
