Installation Procedure

    Battery Cover (1) - Install

    {If equipped} Electrical Connector (1) @ Retainer (2) - Install

    Battery Hold Down Retainer (3) - Install

    4. CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

  4. Battery Hold Down Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  5. Battery Hold Down Retainer Nut (2) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block (1) - Install

    Retainer (2) - Install

  8. Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) - Tighten 4.5 N.m (40 lb in)

    Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover (1) - Install

  10. Retainer (2) - Install [2x]

    Engine Control Module Bracket (1) - Install - Engine Control Module Replacement

  12. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (3.6L LGX) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (2.0L LTG)
