Installation Procedure
- Use the EN-47909 cleaning kit to clean the cylinder head bores.
- If necessary, replace the fuel injection fuel rail insulators - Refer to Fuel Rail and Injectors Cleaning and Inspection
Install the fuel injection fuel rail (1), making sure the fuel injectors seat into the cylinder head evenly.

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
To install the fuel injection fuel rail bolts, perform the following steps:
- First Pass: Start ALL bolts by hand, but do NOT tighten.
- Second Pass: Tighten the outer two bolts by hand to seat the fuel injectors.
- Third Pass: Tighten the remaining bolts by hand.
- Final Pass: Tighten ALL bolts in sequence to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Connect the wiring harness to the fuel injection fuel rail harness.
- Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor - Install - Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor Replacement
- Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe - Install NEW - Refer to Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe Replacement
- Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Noise Shield - Install - Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Noise Shield Replacement
