Condition  Some customers may comment on an auxiliary pump noise during a start/stop event.
Cause  This may be due to the auxiliary pump coming on during the vehicle stop/start to meet the heater performance requirements during colder ambient temperatures.
Correction  Do not replace parts. The auxiliary pump is working as designed.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

If you encounter a vehicle with the above concern, do not replace any parts. The auxiliary pump is working as intended.
