Removal Procedure

- Prior to removing the differential carrier assembly. Review: K47 Rear Drive Control Module: Programming and Setup . It may be necessary to prepare the control module for removal using the SPS programming tool prior to lowering the carrier assembly.
- Rear differential clutch service calibration values may need to be retrieved off of the new carrier assembly prior to installation, which may be used during the module programming and setup.

- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Differential Carrier Assembly - Drain. Differential Clutch Oil Replacement , Differential Oil Replacement
- Propeller Shaft - Remove. Propeller Shaft Replacement .
- Exhaust Muffler Assembly - Remove. Exhaust Muffler Replacement (AWD)
- Rear Wheel Drive Shaft - Remove. Rear Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Left Side , Rear Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side
- Differential Carrier Assembly - Remove. Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement
- Rear Differential Clutch Control Module Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Rear Differential Clutch Control Module (2) - Remove

The rear differential clutch control module can now be removed and replaced.
