Control Panel
The control panel assembly includes the keyboard/display and circuit board. The "WARMER" and "COOLER" buttons change the temperature setting by 2° per second if the button is continuously held down. The temperature scale changes in 1° steps between 65° and 85°, then makes a single 5° jump to 60° or 90°. The temperature may be displayed in either English or metric units, depending on the mode selected for the digital speedometer display (if equipped). An LED above each button indicates which mode has been selected. The control assembly will remember a temperature setting when the engine is turned off. If the battery is disconnected, it will automatically reset to 75° and "AUTO" position.
A button on the upper right side of the panel will cause the outside temperature to be displayed. The LED next to the temperature button will remain lit until the button is pushed again.
