Tests For Improper Displays (BI30 Displays HI With Time/Temp Switch Pressed)

  1. Remove CCDIC connector. Connect terminal B3 to ground with a fused jumper. See Figure.
    • If display reads HI, go to step  2.
    • If display reads LO, check CCDIC terminal B3 for good terminal contact. If terminal contact is good, replace CCDIC.
  2. Backprobe BCM terminal 1D5 to ground with a fused jumper. See Figure.
    • If display reads HI, check BCM terminal 1D5 for good terminal contact. If terminal contact is good, replace the BCM.
    • If display reads LO, repair YEL/WHT (891) wire for an open.
