Tests For Improper Displays (BI30 Displays LO With Time/Temp Switch Released)

  1. Remove CCDIC connector.
    • If display reads HI, check CCDIC terminal B3 for a good, clean connection. If connection is good, replace the CCDIC.
    • If display reads LO, go to step  2.
  2. Disconnect the BCM. Connect a self-powered test lamp at BCM connector terminal 1D5.
    • If test lamp lights, check/repair YEL/WHT (891) wire for a short to ground.
    • If test lamp does not light, check BCM terminal 1D5 for a good, clean connection. If connection is good, replace the BCM.
