Tests For Improper Displays (BI91 Displays HI With Multi-Function Lever In Turn Left Position)

  1. Connect a fused jumper between terminals A6 and A11 of connector C202 (connected). See Figure.
    • If display reads HI, go to step  2.
    • If display reads LO, replace the left Turn Switch.
  2. Backprobe terminal A6 of connector C202 to ground with a fused jumper.
    • If display reads HI, go to step  3.
    • If display reads LO, repair BLK (1033) wire for an open.
  3. Backprobe BCM terminal 1D15 to ground with a fused jumper. See Figure.
    • If display reads HI, check BCM terminal 1D15 for good terminal contact. If terminal contact is good, replace the BCM.
    • If display reads LO, check/repair BLU/BLK (663) wire for an open.
