April 5, 2026: LEMON Manuals is launched! Read the announcement.

Entering Diagnostic Mode

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Most tests may be performed with engine running or not running. Test display will indicate when certain tests are not applicable. Depress "OFF" and "WARM" buttons on CCP simultaneously. See Fig 1.
  2. Hold buttons until segment check appears on Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) and Climate Control Driver Information Center (CCDIC) panel. This is a check of all display segments and indicates the beginning of diagnostic readout.
  3. Upon entering diagnostic mode, the climate control will operate in whatever mode was being commanded just prior to depressing the "OFF" and "WARM" buttons. Even though display may change just as buttons are touched, the prior operating mode is remembered and will resume after diagnostic mode is entered. The Extended Compressor at Idle (ECI) is not allowed while in diagnostic mode. This allows observation of system parameters during normal compressor cycles.
