Test B: Power Windows & Trunk Release Will Not Operate When Retained Accessory Power (Rap) Feature Is Activated

RAP RELAY 1

Condition Connect Between (1) Correct Result
RAP Relay 1 Disconnected: Connect Test Lamp At RAP Relay 1 Connector (3) 5 (RED/YEL) & Ground (2) Test Lamp Lights
RAP Relay 1 Disconnected: Connect Test Lamp At RAP Relay 1 Connector (3) 4 (YEL/BLK) & Ground (4) Test Lamp Lights
(1) If results are correct, go to RAP RELAY 1 Table 2 .
(2) If result is incorrect, check RED/YEL (840) wire.
(3) For terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION .
(4) If result is incorrect, check YEL/BLK (660) wire.
RAP RELAY 1

Condition Connect Between Correct Result (1) BCM Display
RAP Relay 1 Disconnected. Connect Test Lamp At RAP Relay 1 Connector. Select BCM Ouput Test BO03 (2) 5 (RED/YEL) & 2 (BLK/WHT) Test Lamp Lights (3) LO
RAP Relay 1 Disconnected. Connect Test Lamp At RAP Relay 1 Connector. Select BCM Ouput Test BO03 (2) 5 (RED/YEL) & 2 (BLK/WHT) Test Lamp Does Not Light (3) HI
(1) If the BCM display does not cycle from LO to HI, replace the BCM.
(2) For terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION .
(3) If test lamp lights as shown, replace RAP relay 1. If test lamp does not light as indicated, check/repair BLK/WHT (707) wire.
