System Tests: Notes

Before testing, ensure fuses and circuit breakers are OK and ground connections are clean and tight. Leave electrical connectors attached and backprobe terminals unless specified otherwise. For references to connectors and terminals, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  .

No Power Windows Operate From Any Switch A  , B  Then D 
No Power Windows Operate From The Left Hand Door Switch Assembly A  , B  Then D 
Left Hand Window Does Not Operate B  , D  Then (1)
Right Hand Window Does Not Operate From The Left Hand Door Switch Assembly

B  , C  Then D 
Right Hand Window Operates From the Left Hand Door Switch Assembly, But Does Not Operate From Its Individual Window Switch E 
No Power Windows Operate For A Period Of 10 Minutes After The Engine Is Turned Off (With All Doors Closed); Or Power Windows Continue To Operate After Engine Is Turned Off And A Door Is Opened (2)
(1) If right hand window does operate from right hand door switch assembly, but not left hand door switch, replace left hand door switch assembly.
