Front Wheel Speed Sensor

  1. Loosen front wheel speed sensor mounting bracket bolts so that bracket is snug to knuckle but can be moved by hand.
  2. Using a feeler gauge, adjust sensor (between the tip of the sensor and one of the teeth of the toothed sensor ring) to 0.020" (0.50 mm) by moving bracket. See Figure .
  3. Tighten mounting bolts to 19 ft. lbs. (26 N.m).
  4. After tightening bolts, check sensor gap to ensure that it was not disturbed while tightening bracket bolts.
