Electronic Component Replacement

1. Before servicing electronic components, ensure ignition is "OFF" and disconnect the battery ground.

NOTE: Before removing battery ground, access trouble codes. Electronic Control Module (ECM) memory will be erased if ground cable is removed.

NOTE: Before connecting battery ground, ensure ignition is "OFF."

2. Fuel and Engine Control System wiring should be at least 4 inches away from ignition wires.
