Vehicle Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection

A "Scan" tool reading should closely match with speedometer reading with drive wheels turning. A failure in the Vehicle speed Sensor (VSS) circuit should set a Code 24. Refer to System Diagnosis / Diagnostic Charts / Diagnostic Trouble Codes / Code 24. Testing and Inspection
