Clear Flood Mode (Port and TBI Injection)


If the engine floods, it can be cleared by pushing the accelerator pedal down all the way. The Electronic Control Module (ECM) then completely turns "OFF" the fuel. The ECM holds this injector rate as long as the throttle stays wide open, and the engine rpm is below 600. If the throttle position becomes less than 80%, the ECM returns to the starting mode.
