Body Computer Module: Removal

Disconnect battery negative cable.
Remove Combo-panel. See INSTRUMENT PANELS -- ALLANTE article.
Remove retaining screw and pull BCM and mounting bracket out of cavity. See Fig 1 .
Disconnect electrical connectors.
Remove two nuts securing BCM to mounting bracket and mounting bracket from BCM.
Remove bushings from bottom of BCM. Remove BCM from vehicle.
