Fuel Pressure Relief Procedure

WARNING: ALWAYS release fuel pressure before disconnecting any fuel injection-related component. DO NOT allow fuel to contact engine or electrical components.
  1. Connect fuel gage J 34730-1 or equivalent to the fuel pressure connection. Wrap a shop cloth around the fitting while connecting the gage to collect any fuel leakage. Place the cloth in an approved container.
  2. Place the end of the bleed hose in an approved container and open the valve to bleed system pressure.
