Body Computer Module: Removal
- Disconnect battery negative cable.
- Remove Combo-panel. See INSTRUMENT PANELS -- ALLANTE article.
- Remove retaining screw and pull BCM and mounting bracket out of cavity. See Fig 1 .
- Disconnect electrical connectors.
- Remove two nuts securing BCM to mounting bracket and mounting bracket from BCM.
- Remove bushings from bottom of BCM. Remove BCM from vehicle.
