BCM Snapshot

Selection of SNAPSHOT test type while in the BCM system level will allow the recall of up to 3 snapshots recorded at time of the setting of BCM code(s). Additionally, one may trigger the recording of a snapshot upon demand. By pushing HI button on the ECC while in the BCM mode, will result in the display of BXXX (XXX being the 3-digit trouble code that recorded the snapshot).

While selecting the snapshot, any of the following actions may be taken to control the display:

1. Depressing OFF button on the ECC will stop the test type selection process and return the display to the next available system selection.
2. Depressing LO button will allow scrolling through the list of BCM diagnostic codes that the BCM has stored a snapshot for. After the last BCM diagnostic code or the third if there are more than 3 codes, pressing the LO button will result in TAKE BCM SNAPSHOT? display. Responding LO will return to the first BXXX SNAPSHOT? display.
3. Depressing HI button will cause the BCM SNAP DATA? or BCM SNAP INPUTS? to be displayed and will select the test type. At this point display is controlled as it would be for non-snapshot data and input displays, however, all values and status information represents memorized vehicle conditions.
