DTC B552: Keep Alive Memory Error: Description

Code B552 indicates that the keep alive or "Long Term" memory in the BCM has been reset. It is a normal occurrence whenever power is removed from the BCM, such as anytime the battery has been disconnected and reconnected. Code B552 may only be cleared if it is not current. Under normal conditions, the code will become history by the following:

Ignition switch in LOCK position.
Wait 5 seconds.
Ignition switch in ON position. Re-enter Diagnostics.

This code should now be history, and can be cleared in the normal manner.
