System Tests: Notes

Before testing, ensure fuses and circuit breakers are OK and ground connections are clean and tight. Leave electrical connectors attached and backprobe terminals unless specified otherwise. For references to connectors and terminals, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  .

No Power Windows Operate From Any Switch A 
No Power Windows Operate From The Left Door Switch Assembly, Right Switch Operates Right Window A 
Left Window Does Not Operate B  , C  Then E 
Right Window Does Not Operate B  , C  , D  Then E 
Right Window Operates From the Left Door Switch Assembly But Does Not Operate From Its Individual Window Switch F 
Express Down Feature Does Not Work. Window Works Otherwise (1)
No Power Windows Operate For A Period Of 10 Minutes After The Engine Is Turned Off (With All Doors Closed) Or Power Windows Continue To Operate After Engine Is Turned Off & A Door Is Opened (2)
(1) Check for battery voltage between terminal A and C of suspect express down window module while pressing the window switch. If OK, replace suspect express down window module.
