Service Telltale & Message Operation: Notes

The instrument cluster contains the "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" telltale indicator which is turned ON when the PCM detects a fault in the engine operating system. A "SERVICE VEHICLE SOON" message will be displayed on the Climate Control Driver Information Center (CCDIC) when the PCM detects a fault in the Generator, Fuel Pump Circuit, VCC Brake Switch, or Park Neutral Switch which requires that the service message be displayed on the CCDIC by the BCM.
