Pcm Code E71, Intermittent Map Sensor: Description

This test monitors TPS, RPM, MAP, EGR flow and A/C clutch. If TPS, RPM, EGR flow and A/C clutch remains constant, but MAP sensor changes rapidly, code will set. Engine operation requires a large change in manifold pressure must be preceded by a change in throttle angle.
