EI72: Throttle Switch Display

Test detects opening and closing of Idle Speed Control (ISC) nose switch at PCM terminal A7. See Figure . HI means throttle switch is open and PCM has 5 volts at throttle switch input. LO means throttle switch is closed and PCM has zero volts at throttle switch input. X means throttle pedal has been depressed and a change in switch state has been detected.
