ES03: Idle Speed Control (ISC) Motor

  1. Test conditions are vehicle in Park or Neutral, PCM commanding A/C relay off and EGR solenoid de-energized. When ISC motor is stopped, DIC displays 50 and TPS reads 4 degrees or less.
  2. With engine off, depress WARMER button on ECC panel. ISC plunger will extend until it ratchets once. DIC will display 99. With engine on, "==" will be displayed when WARMER button is depressed.
  3. With engine off, depressing COOLER button on ECC panel will retract ISC and display will read 00. With engine on, ISC will retract to base idle (550 RPM).
