Pcm Code E067, Set/Coast Or Resume/ACCEL Switch Shorted: Description

When cruise control is on, system voltage is available at one normally open contact of set/coast and resume/accel switches. If cruise control switch is in ON position, voltage is available to switches when ignition switch is turned on. If set/coast or resume/accel switches were stuck on or shorted to power, cruise control operation would begin. To prevent this, PCM Code E067 will set and cruise control operation is disabled if signal voltage from set/coast (circuit No. 84) or resume/accel (circuit No. 87) is HI continuously for 10 minutes. Cruise control will be disengaged until PCM sees a LO on both of these signals.
