Selection Of Tests

Selecting of DATA?, INPUTS?, OUTPUTS? or OVERRIDE? test types will result in first available test being displayed. If dashes ever appear, this test is not allowed under current operating conditions.

Four characters of display will contain a test code to identify selection. The first two characters are letters which identify system and test type (i.e. PD for PCM DATA) and last two characters numerically identify test (i.e. PD01 for Throttle Position). While selecting a specific test, any of following actions may be taken to control display:

1. Depressing OFF button on Climate Control Panel (CCP) will stop test selection process and return display to next available test type for selected system.
2. Depressing LO button on CCP panel will display next smaller test number for selected test type. If this button is pressed with lowest test number displayed highest test number will then appear.
3. Depressing HI button on CCP panel will display next larger test number for selected test type. If this button is pressed with highest test number displayed lowest test number will then appear.
